Hans Martin Lehmann has been a member of the English Department of the University of Zurich since 1997. He holds a Lizentiat in English linguistics, philosophy and didactics from the University of Zurich. He works as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter and Lehrbeauftragter at the English Department, where he has taught courses in Corpus Linguistics, Syntax and Lexicogrammar as well as Introduction to Linguistics I & II. Currently he is working on an E-Learning project in the area of corpus linguistics.
He has authored and co-authored tools for corpus analysis like BNCweb, ZEN Online and Corpus Navigator. He also collaborated on the release version of the ZEN corpus. Currently he is developing BNC Dependency Bank and ICE Online together with Gerold Schneider. His main research interests are corpus linguistics, syntactic variation, collocation analyisis and lexis-grammar interactions.
