E-book search in the Rechercheportal
Most e-books are recorded in the online catalogue. If you find an e-book through the Rechercheportal, use the
Technical tip: please deactivate your pop-up blocker, either in general, or for databases with SFX.
Please note: E-books licensed by the ETH or the ZHAW are also linked via SFX but are not accessible from the UZH campus.
As with other electronic resources, access is restricted to users within the university network. Students who wish to access these services from their home computers can do so via the university’s proxy server or VPN. For information please consult
E-books licensed by the English Department
So far, only a few e-books have been acquired by the English Department library. These e-books are all searchable in the Rechercheportal and accessible via SFX. E-book aquisitions also appear as separate item in New Acquisitions.

From the homepage of each book you can access the online PDF and read online or download the whole book (choose period from 1 to 3 days).
However, print and copy functions are subject to restrictions. To print out or copy part of the e-book (restrictions depend on publisher), you need to open a personal account with Dawson.
English Language Literature of the Romantic Period

To browse, go to search portal, type in "English Language Literature of the Romantic Period", then go to "details" to find sub-series, and/or to the link "click to see all volumes" to see title list. Each title is linked to the eBook.
