Shakespeare’s Globe Archive: Theatres, Players & Performance documents the performance and construction history of the new Globe and the indoor theatre space of the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
Shakespeare's Globe Archive is available now for browsing and testing. Please take a few minutes to check out this large collection of documents offering "insights into the performance practice in the particular space of the reconstructed Globe Theatre. It documents over 200 performances through prompt books, wardrobe notes, programmes, publicity material, annual reports, show reports, photographs and architectural plans" and also features video interviews and academic discussions.
The trial access is only open until April 7th.
