The study desks in the reading room are primarily reserved for students of the English Department. Personal study desks and lockers are available for students preparing their final exams.

The reading room is a designated silent area and study desks must be kept tidy.

For group work, there is an open study area in the Linguistics section and two smaller group spaces adjoined to the reading room.

For social networking we kindly ask you to use the "Kafistübli".

User terminals for catalogue and database queries are situated in the reading room and in the open study area.
