Online Panel Discussion on 17.11.2025: "New Directions in Critical Military Studies"
Carrie Carter (North Carolina State University), a PhD research fellow at Professor Katharina Gerund's chair of American Literature and Culture at the English Department of the University of Zurich, is moderating an online panel discussion entitled "The U.S. Military as Work: New Directions in Critical Military Studies" on Monday, November 17, 2025, beginning at 6 pm (CET).
This panel brings together renowned critical military studies scholars from history, anthropology, and gender studies to reflect on the growth of the field, its future directions, and how we “do” critical military studies in the current socio-political context.
