Master Graduation

Congratulations, you have made it to the end of your studies – you think. In order to make sure whether you have completed the requirements of the Master program, you can check the "Study Progress & Graduation" app in the student portal. 

Please note that in order to graduate, you need to fulfill the requirements for your Major and Minor subject both. 

• The requirements for the MA Major and Minor can be found in the study regulation annexes (ASTO).
• You can find more information on how to use the "Study Progress & Graduation" app on this site.
• Note that the graduation process does not start automatically. You have to register for graduation. You can find more information on this process and the deadlines here on the website of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
• Questions about the graduation process should be sent to the Degree Services of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. 

If you wish to pursue an academic career after completing your MA degree, you have the option of pursuing a PhD in Literature or Linguistics at the University of Zurich. You can find more information on the PhD subsite.
