Portrait

I hold a master’s degree in Comparative Germanic Linguistics and German Literature/Linguistics as well as a bachelor's degree in English and German Literature/Linguistics, both from the University of Zurich.

At the moment, I am developing a PhD project in English historical lexis supervised by Prof. Dr. Olga Timofeeva. Additionally, I am serving as a substitute research and teaching assistant for Prof. Dr. Olga Timofeeva. This role includes teaching Old English as part of the module ‘History of the English Language’.

My primary research interests revolve around historical lexis, semantics and phonology, with a particular focus on Proto-Germanic and Old and Middle English/German, as well as comparative Germanic linguistics.
