About Me

Wilmari Stüssi (née Claasen) is a doctoral assistant at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Isabel Karremann and part of the Early Modern Research Team.

She has completed both her BA in English and German Literature and Linguistics as well as her MA in Literary Studies at the University of Zurich. Her MA thesis analysed depictions of love, courtship and marriage across two early modern genres, namely Shakespearean comedy and Spenserian epic romance.

Recent Activities

In 2024, she participated in a research internship in collaboration with the Linda Hall Library on the project Sun in Early Modernity.
