Media theorist Prof. Dr. Ivo Ritzer (University of Bayreuth) will teach a MA / PhD block seminar on U.S. Image Culture and Continental Philosophy. Sessions are: Fri-Sat 20th-21st and 27th-28th February, 10:00-18:00).

Ivo Ritzer will be looking at the different ways eminent contemporary philosophers such as Jacques Rancière, Alain Badiou, Gilles Deleuze or Slavoj Zizek engage with american image and film culture.
