As part of Prof. Ana Sobral’s and Prof. Dorota Sajewska’s seminar Peripheral Blackness, British writer, photographer, and broadcast journalist Johny Pitts will talk about his travels through Europe, documenting the lives of Europeans of African descent, and address issues of nationalism, racial discrimination, identity and belonging in Europe and the UK today.
