It may not come as a surprise that the Zurich James Joyce Foundation offers a wide range of reading groups, from Ulysses to Finnegans Wake. However, Zurich is not the only Swiss town where Joyceans and others interested in Irish literature and culture can meet up and discuss Joyce's work.

In Basel, for example, Ulrich Blumenbach and Andrew Shields are the co-organizers of a Finnegans Wake reading group. The reading group meets at Nadelberg 6 (room 13), at 6-8 p.m., and the dates for the spring term 2020 are:

• 41st meeting, Wednesday, February 19
• 42nd meeting, Thursday, March 12
• 43rd meeting, Wednesday, March 18
• 44th meeting, Wednesday, March 25
• 45th meeting, Wednesday, April 1
