Due to unforseen circumstances, both the Master seminar and the lecture offered by Therese Steffen will only start in the third week of the semester (i.e. on September 30, 2013).

As part of their preparation for the first session, students are kindly required to buy a copy of the Norton Anthology of African American Literature (available at the Studentenladen), and to read as many texts as possible.
