Guest lecture on 01.10.2025 on the topic of form and function of nominal address in 19th-century letters written by German immigrants in the USA
Laura Fischlhammer from the University of Salzburg is giving a guest lecture as part of Dr. Mason Wirtz's seminar on “SLA and Sociopragmatics.” Laura Fischlhammer will be speaking on the topic of form and function of nominal address in 19th-century letters written by L1 German expats who emigrated to the USA in young adulthood. The guest lecture will take place in Room PLH 105 (Plattenstrasse 47 in Zürich) on October 1st, 2025, from 9.00 to 9.45 am. Everyone is most welcome to attend!
