Guest lecture on 08.10.2025: "Political Metaphors Used by Democrats and Republicans on Social Media"
Julia Schilling from the University of Bonn is giving a guest lecture as part of Carlos Hartmann's seminar on “Social Media Linguistics.” Julia Schilling works on the language of populism on Social Media, and her guest lecture is entitled "Political Metaphors Used by Democrats and Republicans on Social Media." The lecture will take place in Room PLH 5 (Plattenstrasse 47 in Zürich) on October 8th, 2025, from 12.15 to 1.45 pm. Everyone is most welcome to attend!
